New Single from The Rebirth released Today!
Los Angeles, California – October 21st, 2014 – The Rebirth released their first single in nine years, “This Is Coming To?” on their own label Walk Talkin distributed through Empire. The word timeless best describes the sound of Los Angeles based band, The Rebirth. While other artists are focused on recreating the latest trends, The Rebirth uses its seven-member fusion to keep the quintessential soul band experience center stage, while evolving the genre of soul music towards the future.
The Rebirth’s forthcoming full-length release, “BEING THRU THE EYES OF A CHILD” expected for release early 2015 is the result of several years of self-discovery, repurposing, and the reinvigoration of each member’s desire to persevere in their chosen passion. It’s The Rebirth’s collective legacy, embodied in the form of a musical creation that cannot be repeated, and will generate a legacy and life of its own.
SoulTracks.com and The Rebirth (a former SoulTracks Reader’s Award Winner) partnered to present the World Premiere First Listen of “This Is Coming To?” http://www.soultracks.com/first-listen-rebirth-this-is. This week they will also release the single lyric video.
In addition to embarking on a U.S. tour, The Rebirth has plans to add some International dates to their calendar. The Rebirth members are Loslito, producer, keys & lead vocals; Baskerville Jones, lead vocals; Patrick Bailey, guitar; Chris Taylor, drums, vocals; Mark Cross, keys, synths, vocals; Daniel Seeff, bass; and Nakeiltha “Nikki” Campbell, percussion.
The Rebirth has launched an Indiegogo campaign where fans are able to pre-order the new album and receive it in advance of the release date. The campaign runs through November 15, 2014.

‘Fat Santa’ : The Rebirth’s New Holiday-inspired Single featured on Pandora!
As The Rebirth prepares a release date for their long awaited Album “Being Thru The Eyes of a Child”, they throw us a festive classic funk inspired holiday track “Fat Santa” to appease the appetite of their fans. They rewind their dynamically layered, vocal soul sound a few years and breaks down with some infectious funk, while lead vocalist Baskerville Jones calls up her Nashville church roots to tell the story of curious girl who is trying to bring some tough love to Santa over concerns he has let himself go. “Fat Santa” is featured on Pandora’s “Discover the Holidays” online station this year.
